adventures in shopping....

I decided today to take Avery shopping. Now normally he loves being outside the house seeing people and other things. who wouldn't right? well good thing my mom and my sister were with me! We got there fine, no problem. Plop him in the stroller and he was fine at first...but it didn't last long. The purpose of going was so I could go to Lane Bryant and use a coupon I had. he was absolutely MISERABLE! crying and whining.

So I take him out while I decide what to buy. He didn't want to walk around or be put back in the stroller. He was perfectly content in mommy's arms. So I go to pay for my stuff. Mind you that store has gotten ridiculously expensive, but I still shop there for certain items or when I need something special as I can always find clothes that will fit good. I hand the girl my coupon while holding Avery and says, "you can't use the coupon on clearance stuff." so she asks if i still want it, i say no. At this point my patience is running thin and I'm ready to leave, even though I haven't even been through half the mall. So i didn't buy anything there today...

Off to babies r us, to buy avery a harness so he can walk in the mall a bit more freely. I notice he feels very warm, so i pay through the nose for some motrin. give him the motrin and he continues to walk through the entire holyoke mall. no problem...he ate lunch and was a happy little baby again. took his temp tonight and it was 101 clearly he isn't feeling good. he has 4 molars coming in and a runny nose! poor baby. i told my mom those teeth better hurry up or i'll be pulling them through myself soon!

on a good note: i lost another 4 lbs this week, but never made it working out today as by the time i was able to eat, my head was pounding! but i walked the mall...so its better than nothing.

never did buy anything for myself today, no suprise there. didn't buy too much really. have to wait and loose more weight and then i can go shopping! YAY!
