Meatball Grinders(by request)

ok Sarah, you are going to laugh at this recipe, but I told you I would post it!

-1 jar of your favorite spaghetti/pasta sauce(this was barilla tom/basil) dump into a pot
-add in your favorite frozen meatballs(im lazy and buy the frozen ones at the store, this brand is especially good!)
-heat until sauce bubbles and meatballs have warmed through
-take some grinder rolls and cut them into a "v" as Keith says.(aka not all the way through)
-add in the meatballs and sauce, top with shredded cheese(i used cheddar as i didn't have any italian cheese)
-broil for 5 mins until cheese is melted

it was so simple...yet it hit the spot for both of us! I even said we may have them again next week! Keith was ok with that! I even had leftovers for lunch today followed by a milkshake chaser as this baby doesn't like tomato products! but im willing to sacrifice the heartburn they tasted so good!

We do this alot too. We also do a chicken version with frozen chicken patties, sauce, and cheese (chicken parm grinders). You are going to be so excited when you can eat tomato sauce and not have heartburn afterwards! I know I was!

I didn't have any idea what a grinder was before today!! That sounds pretty yummy and I'll have to try that next week. I always love new recipes. (In the west, they are called hoagie rolls! :))
