Everywhere I look is BOYS!!

sometimes you just want to feel girly...I have a son, a male dog, and of course my husband. Nevermind the fact that the five little kids I will watch are all boys(and 1 girl). Gosh it seems where ever I turn is boy stuff. I'm either dressing in boyish clothes, stepping on a truck, block, or boat, reading boy books, and playing in the dirt.

As for the clothes...I don't where nice or girly clothes when I am home all day with ALL boys! I either end up with mud, poop, pee, or boogies on me, so why ruin the nice clothes. Gosh i get "dressed" up when i go grocery shopping or to the nursing home. Glad complete strangers are getting to see my nice clothes. I need new clothes as the ones I have are getting very "frumpy" but don't want to buy them yet b/c I want to loose some weight first. Then at least I will have an excuse to really buy them other than I need them.

Good thing my girls are coming tomorrow for a girls night and we are going shopping on sunday for wedding dresses(not a wedding "dress" but a dress to wear to a wedding) Now I'm not one to usually wear a dress or a skirt for that matter, but for special occassions I like to feel girly especially when I won't have a boy hanging all over me and wiping boogies on me. Ok so my husband might hang on me, but that's for another reason ;)

Apparently the boys are up to running my life at the moment so I am off to play with the boys.

btw lori, yes he did like the juice!

you know as much as I wanted to have a girl this time I'm not disappointed and actually kind of glad I don't have to deal with all the frills that people feel little girls need to wear!

maybe your next little one will be a girl and you will have a bit of pink in your life

There's a Cafe Mom group - moms of boys - where I go to get my "estrogen fix." I feel ya, woman! In my house (husband, male roommate, 6 y.o. son, I'm known as "She who must be obeyed." And occasionally pampered. lol!
