weight check!

so we arrived at the dr's a half hour early. I knew I had to fill out paperwork and avery was awake. He got to play with the toys there while we waited.

Finally they took us in. Got him undressed, got weighed and measured. he is now a whopping 22 lb 7 oz. He gained almost a lb in 6 weeks. I was excited and the nurse said it was very good. she measured him too as I couldn't remember how tall he was last time. I thought they told me he was 29 inches, but knew that wasn't right. well 6 weeks ago he was 30.25 inches and he is now 31 inches. so he grew .75 of an inch!

He is still in the 10-25% but the dr said as long as he is gaining that is good. He also doesn't want to see him go and gain to much weight. so as long as he stays where he is at we will be good. He asked what he ate and drank and he said that sounded good too. He's not sure what happened between 12 and 15 months that he only gained a few oz, but i said well he did cut 4 molars, he said that could be it then.

We then scheduled his 18 month appointment and left. We then went to CVS, payless, and met daddy for dinner. Went to target on the way out to buy the bike trailer and went to visit great grandma in the nursing home. He was a riot while there as usual and all the little old ladies loved to see him.

He was dancing, jumping, and he was ACTUALLY singing twinkle twinkle little star with us! it was great! Now i know i don't just sing to hear my own voice! he was wiped out by the time we got home...that's what happens when you walk half the mall!
