parents...

sometimes parents just don't make sense to me!

First we go on a bike ride the other day. Its on a fairly flat area that is paved, no cars as its a bike trail. I couldn't help but ponder this...why put helmets on your kids and not on yourself? to me that just doesn't make sense! Great role models too!

second, I take avery to a nearby playground yesterday. There is a 4 year old boy there. He is running around with a huge lollipop. This of course doesn't make sense to give a running child a lollipop, but I can't say anything. Then I hear the mother tell him that he can't go down the slide with the lollipop in his mouth b/c its dangerous! um hello...isn't it just as dangerous to run around with it in his mouth?

I just don't get it..

I'll write another blog on yesterday's adventures. but right now the little guy is awake and im STARVING! time for some coffee!
