Winter just really sucks! Especially for a 2 yr old and being pregnant!! I would normally take him at least outside if not out and about, if I didn't most days have 2 other kids in tow. Its usually a little too cold out for the 9 month old and if we do go out, its only a short time b/c how much can one do in a snowsuit that looks like a big puffy marshmellow?
Anyway...I tried taking A and J to the "ball pit" the other day and well we got there and had 2 very excited kids and they were CLOSED!! Hello people, why are you NOT open during the week? Everything was conviently closed including the children's museum...ugh. Avery had the biggest alligator tears and kept crying "ball pit" all the way home.(half hour drive) of course there was NOTHING else open, couldn't even go to a playground b/c everything was covered in ice. I felt like such a bad mom...
Most days the kid can make me laugh more than frustrate me. I think he has a bad case of cabin fever and having J here doesn't seem to help, which I thought it would. J is worst at 20 months old...he doesn't LISTEN for the life of me, smiles, and keeps on going. Avery is at least listening(for the most part) and I can easily distract him. I think J does things just to spite me and man does it wear on ones nerves. I feel bad for both of them b/c I have such little patience being so miserable being pregnant...
I keep asking Keith if its March yet...at night its the worst. I can't move, can't get comfortable, and sleep well that doesn't happen either. I swear the baby conviently wedges inself between my ribs or hips or sometimes both and its so uncomfortable. I asked keith when i can sleep again and he said a yr...hopefully i will if this baby is as good a sleeper as avery was/is. But I'm still preparing for the worst!
oh and the stupid dog....i went to bring him in out of the ice and he runs the opposite direction!! who wants to sit in ice when its cold? apparently he did! I finally caught him(luckily he is on a dog line) and brought him in.
The coffee did seem to help, but now i want a delicious cupcake! lol
