if you've ever been down my road you know it can be VERY trecherous when its icy/snowy. I found this out about 2 weeks ago when I didn't make it up the hill and came down backwards in my van. It was really nothing I didn't know before...but I was so close to making it to the top. well i managed to get the van down the hill...no gas or breaks were going to stop me and manuvered it to the bottom. There are 2 bodies of water surrounding both sides of the road...so I was fearing the worse. Needless to say I didn't go out that day, but drove my shaking pregnant body home!
well don't know you...the tow truck FINALLY shows at noon.(see previous blog) and it seriously has taken him a half hour to figure out how to get the car out of our driveway. I don't know why he just didn't use my neighbor's driveway to get up ours to get the car. After watching for a half hour...who shows up? but the LOVELY sandman!! now if i had called i would probably still be waiting for him...guess I need a tow truck to come and save the day.
so they did just use about a ton of sand on the road...at least in front of my house, so there should be no problems now! but gee...nothing can ever be simple can it?
maybe now the town won't dismiss our road and sand/plow it last! goodbye keith's car!
