I should always listen to my dad...he does apparently know what he is talking about! I can totally hear him saying..."I told you so!" up there in the heavens. With a look of disappointment on his face!
My dad never liked fords, always referred to them as Found On the Roadside Dead...well it has now come true! At least its in the driveway and not on the roadside!
Yup that's right...Keith's car all of 2 yrs old is dead. He went to start it this morning and it wouldn't start. Apparently, it doesn't like cold weather. There is all of 23,000 miles on it or so. He has had off and on trouble with it since last yr when it got really cold. It would rev, die, start again. He thought it was the fuel like so he used some dry gas. It seemed to do the trick. Back in dec. it acted funny again...it rev to 4,000 rpm and he almost blew through 2 stop signs with Avery in the car. Luckily he wasn't going far...but still scary.
I told him to get it checked, but then it acted fine. We thought with all the rain, something froze and that's what caused the problem. I have been fielding calls all morning with Keith and the roadside assistance people. At least they do follow ups...the tow truck was supposed to be here an hour ago, still not here. They were running late. Hopefully they come soon and its no big deal to fix it!
Luckily its all covered under warrenty as it isn't that old! but come one...the guy needs his car! Glad I don't have plans this weekend and if I did I guess I'm not going. At least there is more snow coming so that would gurantee I'm not going anywhere. Good thing I stay home during the week as well, b/c I'm not sure how we would have gotten around only having one car.
keith has decided that we won't be owning any more fords...I don't know what he was thinking! lol

Oh god... hopefully whatever is wrong can be fixed inexpensively... it can be fixed, right? Miss you!!!!!! Hope you guys have a safe and fun weekend! Be careful of the snow!
ugh! I hope everything works out. At least it is covered under warranty. The transmission in my Ford died about 4,000 miles before my warranty ended and I was so happy that it was covered. I'll be home all weekend for the most part if you need anything. I'm not working tomorrow.
