I realized that the past few posts have been how I've been frustrated with Avery's behavior. He really isn't bad...he's a very good kid and well behaved most of the time. Sometimes just the frustrations add up and I forget about the little GREAT things about him! So in true facebook tradition here are 25 things about him...now that there were 25 things about me!(those were hard btw)
1. He's a small little boy that I just love wrapping my arms around to hug
2. His laughter is VERY contagious and can always put a smile on your face...even when you are mad at him.
3. He can somehow entertain himself in his room for 2 or so hours...all he has are books, a box we made into a house, a chair, and stuffed animals. what does he do? I have NO CLUE!
4. he is a GREAT sleeper! He hardly ever puts up a fight about going night, night.
5. we have to read 1 book and sing "twinkle star" at least twice followed by the lullaby song at night. This has somehow become my job...it used to be Keith's.
6. I love hearing "mommy" come out of his little mouth...its so much cuter than mama!(but ill answer to both!)
7. He tends to be a very good helper...esp. w/Ja(he's 10 months old). I think he will make a great big brother.
8. He dances to any kind of music...mostly classical. Its mostly a teetering back and forth and sometimes spinning.
9. Watching him interact w/ other kids is very precious...esp. when it doesn't involve hitting, but actually playing.
10. He loves his puppies...he has more stuffed animals than anyone! But its so cute watching him hug or kiss them.
11. he kisses and hugs "the baby" when it suites him.
12. I swear he sees "angels".
13. He can sing parts of the Abc's and do all the gestures to itsy bitsy spider and twinkle star. but don't count on him showing you.
14. his eyes are never the same color...they are always changing.
15. He's got the longest eye lashes that any girl would be jealous of!
16. he "pages" me over the monitor when he is ready to get out of his room
17. he will soon have a new big boy room...I personally can't wait for his bed to be OFF the floor, so he doesn't laugh at me trying to get up being 8 months pregnant!
18. he laughs big belly laughs when keith and I kiss.
19. he helps to "cook" and run the mircowave
20. he loves Dora, Blues clues, and Deigo
21. we are slowly working on potty training...
22. he helps w/ the laundry(putting it in the washer, dryer, and taking it out) now if i can get him to fold it acceptably he'd be one up on daddy!
23. I love watching him interact w/Keith
24. He misses my mom and sister and always asks for "jo/go" and "olly"
25. I never knew his smile could bring such happiness!

what a great idea to step back and look at the good things. I should do that soon... especially after a day like today!
I love this post and Avery seems like such a sweet boy! Sometimes something like this helps to make the rough times easier.
